Privacy Notice
This notice applies to Axess Group, the websites of any of our legal entities (Alpa AS; Axess Digital) and our online activities.
1. Axess Group’s Usage of Personal Data
When you visit our websites
We do not use any cookies at the current moment. That means your form inputs will not be seen when not submitted and will be deleted and disregarded when you refresh the webpage. This means that your visit to our website is not being monitored in any way and you are completely anonymous.
When we begin to apply cookies, our Privacy Notice will be updated with information on what sort of cookies we will put in use.
Analytics: Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to monitor and analyse the use of our Services.
Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the gathered data to contextualise and personalise the ads of its own advertising network. We use Google Analytics to understand our site and app users to better examine the performance of our website traffic, marketing, content, products, and more.
You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

Email marketing: Mailchimp
We may use your Personal Data to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. To provide our news, we use Mailchimp, which provides online tools that can be used to create, send and manage emails. You may opt-out of receiving these by following our unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any e-mail we send you or by contacting Axess Group directly.

When you interact with us
When you contact us, such as for business relations or interest, ordering products and services or in relation to projects, media- or investor contacts, supplier relations, sponsorships, or sign up for an event, we collect your name, e-mail address and any other information that you wish to provide to us. We use the data to enable us to meet your request or interest, provide support, comply with contractual obligations or prepare to enter into a contract. When we have an existing customer relationship with you, we may also use your personal data to provide communication and direct market our products and services.
The legal basis for such processing is either your directly obtained consent or the legitimate interest in processing the information due to our business needs as part of our operations when providing information, support and service to you, and these interests are not overridden by your rights to data protection. Where we rely on consent, you are free to withdraw this at any time. When you apply for a job
When you apply for a job in Axess Group or its affiliated entities, we use job application portals operated by external service providers or engage recruitment firms to process and handle your job application. Personal data, such as contact information, information about your education, competencies and skills, career and work history, as well as other relevant background information, are collected and processed to ensure that we recruit qualified candidates.

2. Sharing of Personal Data
We will not share your personal data with third parties except for in circumstances where such sharing is necessary as part of our regular business operations or to provide our services and support to you. Occasionally, we use external third-party service providers, for example, for recruitment and email marketing purposes. In such instances, we may share your personal data with such parties to the extent necessary to perform such services. These service providers have their own policies to safeguard your personal data.
We will not disclose your personal data to third parties for the purposes of allowing them to market their products or services to you.
When required by law, regulation, legal process or an enforceable governmental request, we may share your personal data for legal reasons within the Axess Group and to public authorities or governments but only to the extent we are required to do so.
3. Transfer of Personal Data
Axess Group is an international employer with employees all over the world and offices in the UK, Europe, USA, Africa and APAC region and, as such, the Data we collect may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (EEA). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. In line with the GDPR, Axess Group has the necessary safeguards in place to ensure data is safely and appropriately transferred.
We will not transfer personal data to a third country outside of the EEA that does not provide adequate protection of personal data unless appropriate safeguards are applied, or the transfer otherwise takes place in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
4. Retention and Deletion of Data
Your personal data will be retained as long as necessary to fulfil the legitimate purpose(s) for the processing and as long as required by law. If you have a contractual relationship with us, any personal data relating to you will be retained as long as necessary to enable us to fulfil our obligations relating to that contractual relationship.
If you consent to certain processing, we store your personal data until you withdraw your consent or once the personal data is no longer necessary for achieving the purpose of the processing.
5. Your Rights As a Data Subject
National and international data protection give rights to data subjects. The data subjects have, under some circumstances and subject to the laws of the particular jurisdiction, the right to request access, rectification, erasure and/or restriction to the processing of their data.

This Privacy Notice does not address or govern the privacy practices adopted by third parties that may be accessible through the use of our website. Although we try only to link to websites that share our high standards for privacy, we are not in any way responsible for the content or the privacy practices employed by third parties. We encourage you to familiarise yourself with the privacy notices applicable to such websites or services prior to providing them with your personal data.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. If such updates are not material, we may make such alterations without posting a specific notice on our website.
