Varsha tends to spend most of her free time indoors, where she pursues her passion for acrylic painting. She also enjoys getting outside for picnics and unwinding at the beach.
What does your role entail?
As a Project Coordinator, I assist with preparing and organising personnel for mobilisations. This includes reviewing and validating their certificates to ensure that they meet client requirements, handling immigration and visa processing, and organising flights and ground transportation. I currently also act as the HSSEQC representative, where I present monthly statistics to management and support certain audits.
What have you learned since joining the company?
Coming from a financial and banking background, I can certainly say that I have learnt a lot since joining Axess. My knowledge of the energy industry and related fields has significantly grown. I have also experienced a positive shift in work-life balance, which has helped me to manage my professional and personal life more effectively.
What is the best thing about working in Axess?
I appreciate the company’s positive approach to work-life balance, which is especially meaningful to me as a working mother. Additionally, the company’s commitment to investing in employee training, development, and growth is highly valued.
I hope to advance my professional development as Axess Guyana Inc. continues to grow in Guyana, with the goal of taking on a managerial position in the future.
