What was your journey like in Axess?

After working offshore for many years as a coring specialist, I joined Axess as a Personnel Logistics Coordinator in 2021.

In 2023, I took on an additional role as HSE Support, and have been juggling the two roles ever since. As part of the HSE role, I undertook a NEBOSH qualification in May to have a solid foundation of knowledge in this area.

What do you find most meaningful about your role?

Personnel logistics can be a very demanding and intensive role. However, with my previous offshore experience, I have been able to build positive working relationships with the core members of our offshore team. This foundation is invaluable when we are finding people to go on jobs for our clients. While the role can be challenging during busy periods, it is extremely rewarding when a plan comes together, a team is secured, and the client is happy.

Working at Axess North Sea has allowed me to juggle a very busy family, work and fitness-based lifestyle.

What do you like about the culture in Axess?

Working at Axess North Sea has allowed me to juggle a very busy family, work and fitness-based lifestyle and the company has been very accommodating when it comes to this. I love the Axess culture of pushing one’s limits, both in personal pursuits like outdoor fitness and in professional development.

The company has supported my career development by allowing me to take on the HSE Support role. Getting the official NEBOSH qualification is an opportunity that I am extremely grateful for.
