MOLDE, Norway, November 13, 2024 – Axess Group has landed a long-term frame agreement with Floatel International, a provider of offshore accommodation vessels.
The agreement covers both onshore and offshore work for all of Floatel’s accommodation vessels.
It centers on Axess’ Total Rig Integrity Management (TRIM) solution, encompassing a full suite of inspection, certification and verification services. By challenging the traditional approach of utilising multiple suppliers for different scopes per rig, Axess will initiate and suggest streamlined operations, leading to minimised carbon footprint and cost savings for Floatel.
The main deliverables include periodic surveys of fixed and loose lifting equipment, dropped object management, as well as Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
Kjartan Helle, Regional Manager – AIM at Axess Group, said, “We look forward to a fruitful collaboration with Floatel and are excited about the opportunities this partnership will bring. Our commitment is to provide Floatel with increased predictability in both cost and execution.”
Established in 2006, Floatel International provides reliable and high-performance floatels designed for deep waters and hostile environments all around the world.
