After a series of successful business pursuits in 2016, Axess Group has officially opened its office in Accra, Ghana, as a response to the emerging economic viability of West African oil and energy economy.

The accelerated growth is due to the overwhelming positive response from the major offshore exploration and production (E&P) players in West Africa. This confirms that Axess Group’s expertise in integrity management is highly valued by its clients.

Axess Petrorig Ghana Ltd., a Joint Venture between Axess Offshore Inspection Ltd. and Petrorig Oilfield Services Ltd., was incorporated in October 2016. The strategic partnership streamlines the management of in-country operations, logistics, personnel and other specialised services. With a strong knowledge of the local industry, quality assurance, work leadership and project management, the collaboration has already set exciting business opportunities ahead.

In May 2017, the team achieved a milestone as they landed a key FPSO contract with a major offshore production company. The job, encompassing four riser installations, is a major step forward in Axess Group’s commitment to delivering world-class asset integrity solutions.
