Alpa AS secures strategic contract with Statoil

Alpa AS, Axess Group’s material handling legal entity, is proud to announce that it has secured a long-term agreement to deliver service, maintenance and modifications of offshore cranes and other lifting equipment. The contract covers a range of Statoil’s offshore installations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The agreement has a duration of 4 years plus three optional periods of 4 years each. The contract’s potential is 16 years.

Gunnar Gjeldvik, Managing Director of Alpa, stated: “We are very pleased with the agreement and we are looking forward to continuing the strong cooperation with Statoil. We have been working together since 2006 and this contract confirms that our emphasis on safety, efficiency and cost-effective solutions is valued by Statoil.”
